Celebrate the horses in your life! - Kimberley's equine photoshoot.

25th November 2017

Kimberley has been around ponies all her life!

Kimberley's first pony Barney, has been a superstar for her, and brought home many, many rosettes for her over the years.
She now has two larger ponies; Puzzle, a lovely grey and white mare & Indie, a brown and white mare.

Kimberley had her photoshoot taken at Woodend Stables, Kilsyth. The backdrop they have surrounding them is stunning.
A beautiful tree lined lane leading off to the various fields, a small stream bubbling away and huge forest covered hills to the back of the fields. Ideal for the perfect equine photo session.

You will have heard of the phrase, "Never work with animals or children!" Well as a photographer this is hard to avoid!

But it is usually for a comedy moment as opposed to drama!

We were standing in this perfect spot, Puzzle had her ears forward, which is always a bonus, and the next thing we hear is
whinnying and galloping horses!
I look out from the back of my camera, to find several horses running over to photobomb our shoot!

These cheeky amigos were wanting to be part of the shoot and how could I deny them after such an entrance!

It was perfect!

I kept Kimberley, where she was and quickly captured some shots while Puzzle was looking proud and alert with her ears forward!

Changing things up a bit !

There were so many nice area to shoot, at this central location in Kilsyth, that we moved to a large field which had a great wooded backdrop. Kimberley took the opportunity to change her outfit and horse to her latest member of the family, Indie.

It was such a great location for a photo shoot, and I had a great time taking photos of Kimberley and her ponies.
